Wilking - Go Fund Me

WilkingProtocolLifeEssentials

My name is Albert Wilking, and I teach people how to use the building blocks of life for detox, and reconnecting to their lust for life.

In 2015, after researching mercury poisoning for several years, and recovering from it myself, I started MercuryFreeKids.org, with a mission of having all children mercury free by year 2020.  I wrote and lectured about the debilitating, and sometimes-deadly effects of mercury poisoning.  I also realized that there were serious problems with existing mercury detox methods.  With an unhealthy gut microbiome, many people are attempting to detox, redistributing toxins, and seriously injuring themselves in the process.

By late 2016, I had developed the basics of The Wilking Protocol.  The mission of The Wilking Protocol teaches others to safely detox, while recovering their gut microbiome in the process. The Wilking Protocol basic building blocks of human life are Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate), salt, potassium, and vitamin C.  Articles I have written supporting the importance of these essentials are:

Detoxing from mercury and other toxins is a complicated affair, because there can be many adverse reactions caused by their displacement.  I have a saying, ‘Mercury poisons on the way in, and it poisons on the way out.’

Mercury Heroes
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2017/4/12/mercury-heroes

In February 2017, I started a Facebook group, and the group has grown to more than 1700 members.  It is a supportive and nurturing community based on trust, and using the essential nutrients to human life.  It’s an interactive group and think tank, where people proactively gain control of their own well-being, and help each other feel better in the process

Adults, children, and parents in The Wilking Protocol Facebook group are feeling and seeing great improvements in their gut-brain connection, by detoxing and recovering their gut microbiomes.

Moderating the group is a full time job.  We need financial support to continue with our mission.  Other avenues of income are also developing.  A nutritionist has just started an on line store that sells the essentials needed for the Wilking Protocol.  I am also helping people detox through private consulting.  https://www.thewilkingprotocol.com/

The Wilking Protocol Facebook group is a microcosm of what can happen in our world in a much larger way, but I need the support of people like you.  Whether it be financial support, helping spread the word, or even encouraging your friends and neighbors to join, every little bit helps.

Epsom Salts - Holy Grail of Healing

EpsomSaltHealing.jpg

#EpsomSaltsHeal

Most mercury toxic people need to be doing Epsom Salt flushes. I recommend doing at least one a week starting out with the Wilking Protocol, unless there are some extenuating circumstances.  As always, check with your doctor to see if our protocol, and an Epsom salt flush is right for you.

Our bodies will not detox from mercury without sulfur, and many of us long-time poisoned mercury types are very deficient in sulfur.  Anyone with arthritis, loss of hair, a skin condition, nail problems, bowel troubles, feelings of depression or anxiety, eye and ear problems, are sulfur deficient.

Using Epsom salts to flush our intestines and liver allows us to open them back up for business.  The body can then dispose of toxins like mercury through our GI tract, rather than sending it to the kidneys or skin.  Our skin breathes a little easier, and the stress comes off our adrenal glands sitting on top of our kidneys.  Our body can use the glutathione it makes to help us feel better, rather than chasing mercury around like a teacher who can't give any of the other students attention because there is a really bad kid in class.

When we flush with Epsom we begin to open up our detox pathways.  By increasing our sulfur intake, and flushing, we flush the excess sulfur right along with a bunch of retained toxins.  Pulsing the magnesium sulfate like this, helps us to avoid a kickback response where the body moves too much mercury too fast, or gets backed up on the sulfur.

From your local pharmacy or drug store,
buy a USP grade Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate,)
where it gives clear directions on how to use it as a laxative.
Follow those directions.

I am going to explain again why I recommend regular Epsom salt flushes.  You don't want to increase essential elements into your body without pooping more. This is how we end up going back to Pharmaceuticals looking for some kind of drug or relief for a symptom.  Everything we ingest goes through a cyclical process. In other words, if we take in sulfur, it goes through a 'sulfur cycle' in our bodies.  If the back end of the cycle isn't up to the task, we can get stuck with excess sulfite, or some other problem.  The glutathione our cells made with the Epsom (magnesium sulfate) can turn into a free radical, and it can start attacking our own cells. This happens because all the parts of our sulfur cycle are NOT in place.  Sulfur is the 8th most common element in the human body.  Most sick people have some problem with their sulfur cycle(s).  For example, we can not detox from mercury if we don't have enough sulfur.   For instance, our body can be running around trying to deal with mercury, using all available sulfur, and then it doesn't have enough sulfur to repair our skin, or make our intestines nice and tight so that they don't leak.  However, if we take in a bunch of sulfur, we can end up moving a bunch of mercury with no place for it to go, or we end up as I describe in the scenario above.  By pulsing the essentials into our bodies, by doing flushes, we then have a transportation system with on and off ramps, and lights, and policemen that direct the traffic. If we don't pulse it, and just start raising our doses of essentials we can end up with traffic jams all over the place, and a lot of angry drivers, and a lot of miscreants (mercury) with nowhere for them to go.

The healthcare industry tells us Epsom Salts are to be used only for Detox Baths, and reducing inflammation from swelling.  They also tell us that we can take them ‘occasionally’ for constipation.  Epsom Salts, MgSO4, Magnesium Sulfate, is commonly found in our local drug store on the bottom shelf, covered with dust.
What are they NOT telling us?

Western Healthcare is NOT telling us that they use MgSO4 intravenously to heal people.  Instead, we are told that we can easily reach a state of hypermagnesemia, and that we can die from it.  The primary reference for this statement is from a death in 1943 from an Epsom salt enema

Let's keep this in perspective.  There are 75,000 emergency room visits a year because of Tylenol, acetaminophen poisoning.  Tylenol, with acetaminophen, also known as paracetamol, wrecks the sulfur stores in our livers and body.
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/toxic-tylenol

The scare tactics used by the healthcare industry to keep people away from Magnesium Sulfate, from getting hypermagesemia, are rooted in their own poisonings of people with magnesium sulfate IV’s, and even then the evidence is sketchy that the problem was caused by IV magnesium sulfate.

Magnesium sulfate IV’s are used for treating severe cases of asthma, preeclampsia, extreme body convulsions, ventricular arrhythmia's (heart attacks), tetanus, jaundice, detoxing people from acetaminiophen poisonings, and benzodiazepine withdrawal.

We are never told to use magnesium sulfate as a daily dietary supplement.  Instead, we are told it is not recommended.  I have personally found it extremely difficult to find references to anyone taking a daily maintenance dose of MgSO4.  How much Epsom salt would be required to meet our Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) needs of Magnesium?  About 1/3 teaspoon.  What else do Epsom salts contain that the For-Profit Healthcare Industry might hide from us?  Sulfur.

To make insulin, two peptide bonds are tied together with a disulfide bond, that's sulfur, and without enough insulin, we become diabetic.  For good health, our skin and hair require sulfur.  The burning smell of hair is from the sulfur contained in keratin.  Our glutathione detoxification system requires sulfur.  Our production of the amino acid cysteine requires sulfur.

If you have ever taken acetaminophen, Tylenol, coal-tar medicine, and you haven't loaded up on sulfur, the Coal-Tar may still be in your liver.  Our bodies cannot detoxify from coal-tar medicines if we do not have enough sulfur.  We cannot detoxify from mercury without sulfur.  The body requires glutathione to detox, and sulfur is part of it's chemical compounding.  If the body does not have enough sulfur to run it's metabolic processes, it will break down essential cysteine, methionine, and glutathione to access the sulfur molecule.

In the 1930’s, crop fertilizers in the United States of America began to exclusively use ammonia.  Sulfur was dropped as a fertilizer.  Is it possible there is collusion between our government and the big business food industry?  Incredibly, there is NO Recommended Daily Allowance for Sulfur.  It doesn’t exist.  Sulfur, an essential mineral to our health, and there is NO RDA for it?

Parents are detoxing their autistic children with Epsom Salt baths.  Constipated people take MgSO4 for emergency clean-outs.  Magnesium sulfate reduces swelling of our broken or sprained limbs.  The healthcare industry injects it into our bodies.  However, the Healthcare Industry has NO recommended daily dose of Sulfur!  There is no RDA for Sulfur?!

THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY HAS NO
RECOMMENDED DAILY DOSE FOR SULFUR!

THERE IS NO RDA FOR SULFUR?!

IF YOU ARE ON A PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION, DO NOT TAKE EPSOM SALTS, MAGNESIUM SULFATE, WITHOUT FIRST TALKING TO YOUR DOCTOR.

DETOX OF THE INTESTINES

If necessary, you may add anything you like to mask the taste of the Epsom salts.  Juices of lemon, orange, apple or any other juice is fine.

'To treat constipation with Epsom salt, follow dosage guidelines. For adults and children 12 years old and older, dissolve 2-4 level teaspoons of Epsom salt in 8 ounces of water and drink immediately. For children 6 to 11 years old, dissolve 1-2 level teaspoons of Epsom salt in 8 ounces of water and drink immediately.'

Epsom salt usually produces a bowel movement within 30 minutes to six hours. A dose or two should clear up acute constipation.

http://www.healthline.com/health/digestive-health/epsom-salt-for-constipation#4

Although many websites have warnings not to give small children Epsom salts, I can find no verified reason as to what the danger of it would be.  Instead, Western Healthcare prescribes proven poisons like Miralax.

This website says this:
'For children of above 1 year age, take 1/2 teaspoon in cup of cold water or juice.'
http://homeremediesforlife.com/epsom-salt-for-constipation/

My recommendation is to proceed with caution, and as a caregiver, you should always administer a treatment to yourself first, before doing it with a child.

SULFUR TOXICITY

Sulfur toxicity is just a fantasy.  NO one on the planet has ever died from consuming too much sulfur, although some people have died from breathing in sulfur fumes.  If anyone had ever died from ingesting sulfur, don't you think the healthcare industry would have a fancy name for a sulfur toxicity?  If they wanted us to know about Sulfur deficiency, wouldn't they have a fancy name for it too?

Here are the names of some common examples of getting too much of an essential.
HyperMagnesia - Too much Magnesium
HyperKalemia - Too much Potassium
HyperNatremia - Too much Sodium
HyperCalcemia - Too much Calcium
HyperOxia - Too much Oxygen
Hemochromatosis - Too much Iron

Where is the name for a poisoning from too much sulfur?  There isn't one, It doesn't exist!

If you wanted to make money poisoning people, and then treating the symptoms, how could it be done?  Have the approved governmental healthcare authority, the FDA or NIH, leave an essential to our health off the list of essentials to our heath, and then eliminate that essential from the food supply, so we can not detox from the poisons delivered to use by the Healthcare Industry, poisons like Mercury, Fluoride, Bromine, Acetaminophen, Polysorbate 80, Aluminum, Formaldehyde, MSG...

ESSENTIAL SULFATE

I like much of this article.  However, I do not agree that methionine is a good source of sulfur for a mercury toxic person.  Loose sulfur/thiols can cause mercury redistribution.

'In 1860, I.G. Farben (Bayer) first produced chemical fertilizers from coal tar. By 1938, Nelson Rockefeller and Prescott Bush contracted with I.G. Farben to develop and aggressively market ammonium nitrate and ammonia sulfate as chemical fertilizers.'

'The process they used for these required heat and naturally occurring sulfur is one of the most temperature-sensitive of all elements. These fertilizers are devoid of sulfur due to the 360 degree F temperatures used for production; this temperature is 100 degrees over the vaporization point of sulfur.'

DIABETICS ARE SULFUR DEFICIENT

'Sulfur is known as a healing mineral, and a sulfur deficiency often leads to pain and inflammation associated with various muscle and skeletal disorders. Sulfur plays a role in many biological processes, one of which is metabolism. It is present in insulin, the essential hormone that promotes the utilization of sugar derived from carbohydrates for fuel in muscle and fat cells.'

MAGNESIUM SULFATE FOR HIGH FEVERS

A child that gets a dangerously high fever should never be given Tylenol or acetaminophen.  Instead, Magnesium Sulfate appears to be the treatment of choice for safe fever reduction, and the prevention of epileptic seizures.

SHENANIGANS IN FOR-PROFIT GENETIC TESTING

Instead of strong recommendations to supplement with sulfur, we get alternative healthcare misinformation campaigns to do genetic testing, testing that will be moot when we get the essentials to good health.  Mercury is an epigenetic.  Get rid of the mercury, the genes go back to the way they were intended to be.

MAGNESIUM SULFATE INTRAVENOUS CURES

'What dose of intravenous (IV) magnesium sulfate should be used in the treatment of acute severe asthma?
Response from James E. Gern, MD.'

'There have been a number of studies to evaluate the usefulness of IV magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) in the treatment of acute exacerbations of asthma, and most have used 1.2-2 g IV over 20 minutes administered soon after the subject presented for care.[1] The MgSO4 was generally administered in combination with standard asthma therapy such as nebulized beta-adrenergic agonists and either oral or IV corticosteroid. In general, no benefits have been observed in subjects with mild-to-moderate airway obstruction, but there is some evidence that MgSO4 might be efficacious in subjects with severe airway obstruction.'

'For example, in a large multicenter study of 248 subjects with acute severe asthma, treatment with MgSO4 2 g IV was beneficial in the subset of patients who presented with severe airway obstruction (forced expiratory volume in 1 second [FEV1] < 25% predicted), but not in subjects with less severe airway obstruction.[2] However, not all investigators have found benefits in severely affected individuals. Porter and colleagues[3] conducted a double-blinded placebo-controlled trial involving 42 subjects who presented to an emergency department with a peak expiratory flow rate < 100 L/min (or < 25% predicted). Treatment with MgSO4 2 g IV in addition to standard therapy was not helpful, and in fact, the treated subjects had significantly lower peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) 1 hour after receiving the medication.'

'In summary, the use of IV magnesium in acute severe asthma remains controversial, but can be considered for patients with acute severe asthma who do not respond to standard therapy. Additional studies are needed to better define which patients are most likely to benefit from this treatment.'
http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/498382

'Magnesium deficiency plays an important role in alcohol withdrawal syndromes. Parenteral replacement of magnesium in the form of magnesium sulfate is safe and diminishes the severity of withdrawal symptoms in recently alcohol-abstinent patients. Early diagnosis of withdrawal illness and institution of magnesium replacement therapy decrease the need for benzodiazepines, diminish withdrawal complications and reduce the length of hospital stay. Testing for serum magnesium levels is useful, but experience supports the empiric use of magnesium replacement therapy in alcohol withdrawal.'
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3577989

'In severe cases of preeclampsia, doctors often recommend antiseizure medications. One such medication is called magnesium sulfate. Magnesium sulfate is a mineral that reduces seizure risks in women with preeclampsia. A healthcare provider will give the medication intravenously, or into the body through a vein. Sometimes, it’s also used to prolong pregnancy for up to two days. This allows time for corticosteroid drugs to improve the baby’s lung function.'
http://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/preeclampsia-magnesium-sulfate-therapy#complications3

FEEL GOOD MEDICAMENTS ARE AWFUL PREDICAMENTS

The healthcare industry makes money if we are deficient in sulfur, Oxytocin, a compound made in our bodies contains sulfur.  Without sulfur will not have enough of our body's own home made feel goods, and the healthcare industry steps in and supplements their for-profit replacements for our own deficiencies.

'Oxytocin is normally produced by the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus and released by the posterior pituitary.  It plays a role in social bonding, sexual reproduction in both sexes, and during and after childbirth.  Oxytocin is released into the bloodstream as a hormone in response to stretching of the cervix and uterus during labor and with stimulation of the nipples from breastfeeding.  This helps with birth, bonding with the baby, and milk production.'

When the healthcare industry interferes with this bonding, they have customers for life.

EPSOM SALT BATHS

In a study on Epsom salt baths, Magnesium and Sulfur are absorbed.

No volunteer complained of any adverse effects, even at MgSO4 levels of 2.5%. Possible effects on the kidneys were tested by measuring urinary protein content. This did not change significantly, whichever Epsom salt levels were used, over the 8-day period. Kidney damage is therefore not an issue.

SULFUR IN THE MICROBIOME

'The most extensively studied of the microbes involved in colonic sulfur metabolism are the sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), which are common colonic inhabitants. Many other microbial pathways are likely to shape colonic sulfur metabolism as well as the composition and availability of sulfated compounds, and these interactions need to be examined in more detail. Hydrogen sulfide is the sulfur derivative that has attracted the most attention in the context of colonic health, and the extent to which it is detrimental or beneficial remains in debate. Several lines of evidence point to SRB or exogenous hydrogen sulfide as potential players in the etiology of intestinal disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) and colorectal cancer in particular.'

'While the process of assimilatory sulfate reduction is widespread among microbes, only restricted microbial groups are capable of dissimilatory sulfate reduction (Figure 2). The sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) are notable as the only microbes in intestinal ecosystems that rely on inorganic sulfate for conservation of energy.'

Potassium and SALT - Chicken or the Egg?

SaltPotassiumChickenEgg.jpg

This post addresses the problem of getting the ‘science’ down for The Wilking Protocol essentials to human life.  Which essential should we use first?  How much?  In answer to these questions, there is NO silver bullet,  one size fits all solution.  There is NO set answer for everyone.  This is how so many people have come to be poisoned today in our super modern, super Sci-Fi Western Healthcare ruled world.  "When we say, "Hurry up, give me the answer, just give me the solution, I want to get on with my life," we are in effect turning over our power to the healthcare system, or to any system or individual, to act upon us as they please.  #ChickenOrTheEgg

In the Wilking Protocol, we do intestinal Flushes and Cleanses, and they involve going over Bowel Tolerance (BT) to get diarrhea.  In the Wilking Protocol Facebook group, when I have brought up the concept of a Niacin Flush, people have asked, “How much does it take you to go over BT?  How often should a Niacin Flush be done?”  https://www.facebook.com/groups/wilking/

My main concern is I want the people feeling better, getting things right; I don’t want them hurting themselves.  A Niacin Flush has nothing to do with BT; it is about Flushing the skin.  However, people joining our group are sick, and many of them want to feel better fast.  It's easy to make mistakes when we are in a rush, especially if we don't feel well, and if this wasn't complicated enough.

Taking Niacin without the accompanying B vitamins will throw the body out of whack.  We want to find general guidelines, rather than hard fast rules.  Nowhere in this Mercola article does it discuss getting a balanced amount of B vitamins when doing a Niacin Flush.  Let caution be our guide.
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2014/05/04/detoxification-program.aspx

It can be very difficult with reactions and counter reactions to supplements.  How can a person determine whether the reaction to an essential, is a good reaction, a bad reaction, or is it too much of a good reaction?
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2017/2/3/acute-vs-chronic-mercury-poisoning

What about Potassium in relation to SALT, and vitamin C?  Forget Vitamin C for the moment; let’s even forget it's relationship with SALT.  Let's just address the relationship of Potassium and our own bodies.
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2017/5/17/potassium

The FDA does not allow more than 99mg of Potassium to be sold in a supplement.  They tell us that we get the amount we need from food, and that we can die if we get too much.  I believed this.  However, when we are doing intestinal cleanses, we are flushing out toxins, and essentials, and this drives down our Potassium levels.  Perque, a quality name brand of L-Ascorbate recommended by The Wilking Protocol, follows the FDA guidelines of 99mg of Potassium per serving, which comes to 198mg per teaspoon.  We’ve had people swelling up on Perque.  Is it possible this is coming from a loss of PotassiumC-Salts, another of our recommended brand of L-Ascorbates, has 365mg of K per teaspoon.  Are people swelling up more on the Perque, because it has half the Potassium of C-Salts, and thus there is a greater loss of Potassium?

It’s clear that we need to add Potassium to the Wilking Protocol.  How to do it?  If someone was to confuse the Buffered L-Ascorbate cleanse, http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2016/3/19/mercury-dump,
and substitute Potassium Citrate, they could have a problem.  In our Facebook group, sometimes we have had people confuse the Salt and the Buffered L-Ascorbate protocols.

Potassium Citrate in powder form has 448 mg per ¼ teaspoon, that’s just under 1800 mg per teaspoon.  If a person mistakenly attempts to cleanse with Potassium Citrate, following the Buffered L-Ascorbate guidelines, within 2 hours they could potentially consume more than 21,600 mg of Potassium.  That’s a very dangerous level.  In comparison, Cream of Tartar only has 495 mg of Potassium per teaspoon, another example of how someone could potentially make a mistake, with it being only one quarter of the dose of Potassium.

We don’t know very well how people react to Cream of Tartar as a supplement.  There is some concern as to whether tartaric acid might cause a candida flare.  Some autistic kids show a very high amount of tartaric acid in their urine.  Tartaric acid is the leftovers of a fermentation process, one that may be taking place in their gut.  By our adding in Cream of Tartar as a Potassium source, which has tartaric acid, could that cause a flare as well?
https://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/articles-1/2015/11/13/candida-and-overgrowth-the-problem-bacteria-by-products

This article states that a magnesium deficiency should be resolved before attempting to rectify a Potassium deficiency.
When concomitant hypokalemia and hypomagnesemia exist, the magnesium deficiency should be corrected first; other wise, full repletion of the potassium deficit is difficult to achieve.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4357351/

The Wilking Protocol does need a general list, a family tree of what supplements to use, and when to use them.  But we also don’t want to lose the intuitive element when we come up with general guidelines.  Perhaps, like the Perque L-Ascorbate cleanse ,1/2 tsp for a healthy person, 1 tsp for a person in medium health, and 2 tsp for a sick person, we will have a similar protocol, maybe something like this:

Healthiest person - Salt flush first – This person can handle a maximum toxin release
Medium health -  A vitamin C flush, then followed by the Salt Flush
Sick person -  A Potassium cleanse?  Which form of Potassium?  What is the dosing?
Very sick person - Mag citrate, Milk of Magnesia, or maybe even an Epsom salt flush, where very little of the element is absorbed.

Why are there ZERO FB groups extolling the virtues of Potassium?  Is it truly dangerous, and that’s why there are no more than 99mg doses, or is it just another misinformation campaign?  Does the health care industry throw down on people that use or recommend Potassium?

With The Wilking Protocol, we are finding our way, our gut intuitions on how to add essential nutrients to our lives, we experiment, we ask tough questions of ourselves, and we learn, but most of all we take our time.

If you are using The Wilking Protocol, you need to supplement with Potassium.  Almost everyone using the protocol has some neurotoxic accumulation, like mercury, so trying to get enough Potassium from the diet alone will not be enough for a sustained therapeutic detox.  With the protocol's consistent cleanses and flushes, we need therapeutic doses of Potassium.

This is an illustration of the Salem Witch Trials.

This is an illustration of the Salem Witch Trials.

I have read some estimates that only 2% of the population is actually getting the 3700 mg of the US RDA for potassium.  Yet the FDA has a ruling that no supplement can contain more than 99 mg of potassium.  This appears to be another smoke screen.  If we were all getting enough potassium, would anyone be sick?
What the heck is going on?

HISTORY - HAS ANYONE EVER DIED FROM A POTASSIUM OVERDOSE?
The amount of misinformation coming out of the For-Profit Healthcare industry is overwhelming.  I'm having a hard time finding anyone who has ever expired from a potassium overdose.  One man appears to have died in 1837, but it's unclear if Potassium was the actual cause.  Here is what Wikipedia says about using Cream of Tartar, (COT), Potassium Bitarate, as a laxative.

Cream of tartar (COT) has been used internally as a purgative. Use as a purgative is dangerous because an excess of potassium, or hyperkalemia, may occur.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potassium_bitartrate

Do they have any actual data or studies to back up this statement?

In all 3 mentioned poisonings in this link, the subjects appear to have ingested about 5-6 tablespoons, and that would be a dose of about 16 grams of elemental potassium.  Interestingly, this same link talks about the history of Cream Of Tartar (COT) as a laxative.

Cream of tartar has a long history as a medicinal purgative. For instance, included among Lewis and Clark's medicinal supplies was two pounds of cream of tartar; in his diary Clark describes treating a “dangerously ill” child with cream of tartar. Other historical publications also extolled the usefulness of cream of tartar as a diuretic for the treatment of edema and as a cathartic and laxative.

One of potassium's biggest roles in our bodies is to regulate the amount of sodium entering and exiting our cells, thereby controlling the amount of fluid we retain or excrete. This maintains the body's pH levels, which ensures that our cellular processes proceed at an appropriate rate.

http://www.naturalnews.com/046152_potassium_bananas_body_builders.html

This link may be the best single source for info in this article on how Potassium works, and why it's vital to our health.
Potassium is very important in the human body. Along with sodium, it regulates the water balance and the acid-base balance in the blood and tissues. Potassium enters the cell more readily than does sodium and instigates the brief sodium-potassium exchange across the cell membranes. In the nerve cells, this sodium-potassium flux generates the electrical potential that aids the conduction of nerve impulses. When potassium leaves the cell, it changes the membrane potential and allows the nerve impulse to progress. This electrical potential gradient, created by the "sodium-potassium pump," helps generate muscle contractions and regulates the heartbeat. Another of the pump's most important functions is preventing the swelling of cells. If sodium is not pumped out, water accumulates within the cell causing it to swell and ultimately burst.

Though sodium is readily conserved by the body, there is no effective method for potassium conservation. Even when a potassium shortage exists, the kidneys continue to excrete it. Because the human body relies on potassium balance for a regularly contracting heart and a healthy nervous system, it is essential to strive for this electrolyte's balance.

Fatigue is the most common symptom of chronic potassium deficiency.  Early symptoms include muscle weakness, slow reflexes, and dry skin or acne; these initial problems may progress to nervous disorders, insomnia, slow or irregular heartbeat, and loss of gastrointestinal tone.

What are the most essential nutrients to human life?  This chart puts it in perspective.  Keep in mind that SALT is NaCL, Na and CL, sodium chloride.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mineral_(nutrient)

If you suffer from anxiety, depression, insomnia, constipation, high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney stones, hyperthyroidism, arthritis, obesity, headaches, pain in the eyes, muscle spasms, "restless leg syndrome," fatigue, or muscle tension, to name a few, you may be deficient in potassium.

"Not only does the lack of potassium in our diet affect many health conditions, but several medications being used to treat certain "diseases" are actually causing potassium deficiency.  Examples include: diuretics, laxatives, cortisone, aspirin, cardiac drugs, steroids, and certain therapies used to treat advanced liver disease."

The following also corroborates a safe upper limit for potassium intake.  However, I see no record of anyone having cardiac arrest from these levels.

"Although there is no established safe upper limit, potassium toxicity appears to develop with an intake of approximately 18,000 mgs and may lead to cardiac arrest." Considering this information, you can see that, while possible, it would be very difficult to overdose on potassium.

http://www.naturalnews.com/022589_potassium_diet_deficiency.html

In Hyperkalemia, certain drugs can cause potassium levels to rise. These include very widely-used blood pressure medications known as ACE-inhibitors, potassium supplements given with diuretics (also called “water pills”), and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as lithium, calcium channel blockers, and blood thinning agents such as heparin.

Potassium is essential for several homeostatic and cellular processes. As a result, low levels of this mineral hamper normal kidney functions and neuromuscular activities. The current article describes more about the signs and symptoms of low potassium levels in the body.
http://www.buzzle.com/articles/signs-and-symptoms-of-low-potassium.html

This clearly states that the intestinal bloating and swelling so many of us have experienced may be related to a potassium deficiency.  With Potassium, SIBO may be a thing of the past.
"SIBO develops when the normal checks and balances that control intestinal bacterial populations are disrupted. The two processes that most commonly predispose one to develop small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) are DIMINISHED STOMACH ACID (HCl, potassium and sodium chloride)"

The following is an excerpt about hormones from an article by Analytical Research Labs, a hair testing company.  It does a good job of explaining the relationship between salt and potassium in the body.

Aldosterone is called a mineralocorticoid hormone. Its primary function is to increase sodium retention by the kidneys. Aldosterone levels roughly correlate with sodium levels on a hair mineral analysis. Aldosterone is a pro-inflammatory hormone required to initiate a healing reaction.

Cortisol and cortisone are referred to as glucocorticoid hormones because they cause conversion of amino acids and glycogen to glucose. The corticosteroids are anti-inflammatory and provide a mild sense of euphoria. Cortisol levels roughly correspond to the potassium level on a hair mineral analysis.

A balance between aldosterone and cortisol is necessary to maintain one's health. This balance is associated with the ratio of sodium to potassium on a hair analysis. If aldosterone secretion is high ratio-wise to cortisol, inflammatory conditions such as gastritis, colitis, arthritis, bursitis and sinusitis prevail. This often corresponds with a high ratio of sodium to potassium on a hair analysis.

If cortisol secretion is high ratio-wise to aldosterone, diseases such as diabetes, immune-deficiency syndromes, infection, arteriosclerosis, atherosclerosis, cataracts, glaucoma, coronary heart disease or cardiomyopathy may prevail. This corresponds to a low ratio of sodium to potassium on a hair analysis. Dr. Eck determined the ideal sodium/potassium ratio is about 2.5:1 in an unwashed sample of head hair.

http://www.arltma.com/Articles/AdrenalInsufDoc.htm

This is the FDA's daily value (DV) for essential nutrients.  If we are to believe their 3700 mg number for potassium, and if we use the ratio of sodium to potassium in the optimum hair analysis as a guide for our daily intake, we can expect that our optimum daily salt intake would be 9250 mg.
https://www.fda.gov/food/guidanceregulation/guidancedocumentsregulatoryinformation/labelingnutrition/ucm064928.htm

If this converter is accurate, then long term our optimum daily salt intake of 9250 mg converts to about 1.5 teaspoons.  That's 9.25 grams of salt!

http://www.traditionaloven.com/culinary-arts/cooking/table-salt/convert-tea-spoon-tsp-to-gram-g.html

Allopathic Healthcare prescribes drugs that deplete our bodies of potassium.  Rather than give the body the potassium it needs to make cortisol, they even go so far s to poison us with fluoride.  Fludrocortisone has fluoride as part of it's chemical makeup.

In this case, due to the mineralocorticoid properties of fludrocortisone, persistent potassium loss occurred despite continued potassium repletion. It was not until fludrocortisone was discontinued that the potassium level increased and returned to the normal range.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4357351/

When concomitant hypokalemia and hypomagnesemia exist, the magnesium deficiency should be corrected first; other wise, full repletion of the potassium deficit is difficult to achieve.

They are saying increase magnesium levels first.  However, in my experience this is not always possible as some people can have a severe reaction when supplementing with magnesium.

Inflammation can take the form of any 'itis', such as arthritis, bursitis, colitis, or tendonitis.  It is a tendency for aches and pains.  A high sodium/potassium ratio is also a tendency for mental excitation.  A ratio that persists between 3 and 6 suggests a forward-looking person.  A ratio greater than 6:1 suggests aggressiveness and anger.

http://drlwilson.com/Articles/sodium-potassium%20high.htm

A study in the journal “Nature Neuroscience” investigated the role of potassium in the regulation of serotonin, the neurotransmitter primarily targeted by antidepressants. The researchers speculated that potassium channels in the brain may play an important role in serotonin regulation. Potassium appears to act as a facilitator in ensuring the brain’s ability to properly utilize serotonin. Depression is often characterized by negative thoughts such as guilt, feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, low self-worth, and suicide. Potassium is required to activate neurons involved in positive thoughts and feelings. Without the electrical charge sparked by potassium, neurotransmitters like serotonin cannot be utilized to make us feel better. This may explain why even a slight decrease in potassium levels can result in significant feelings of anxiety.

I disagree with that statement that SALT raises blood pressure.  The only time I see it raising blood pressure is when a person first begins to supplement their diet with additional salt.  Pathogens die, neurotoxins are released, and the body raises BP to push toxins like mercury out of the blood stream.
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2017/2/3/acute-vs-chronic-mercury-poisoning

The type of SALT I am talking about is NOT table salt.  See:

http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2017/1/13/salt-is-life

Potassium is a crucial mineral for restoring healthy blood pressure balance in your body, and when you don't have enough potassium, symptoms can start to emerge that may eventually be diagnosed and labeled as "high blood pressure."

However, the healthcare industry keeps the good stuff for themselves.  Look at what they are use for a full clean out:  SODIUM, POTASSIUM, MAGNESIUM
This is one of the industry standards for clean-outs.  http://www.suprepkit.com/

Suprepkit is Sodium sulfate/potassium sulfate/magnesium sulfate solution, and is a laxative. It works by increasing the frequency of bowel movements by retaining water in the stool and by moving contents through the bowel.

Pineal Command - Iodine and the Bromine Rash!

PInealCommandIodine.jpg

#BromineRash #PowerOfIodine #PinealCommand

Please read my former article called "The Power of Iodine" before continuing.
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2016/11/22/iodine-our-most-important-element

Do not take Iodine until you fully understand what you are doing with it.  Driving an 18 wheeler requires a specialized license for a reason.  A licensed driver has the skill sets to handle the vehicle, they have been educated on how to use the tool, the vehicle.  Iodine is a vehicle.  An essential for bodily communication.

Get yourself filled up on the essentials, that's Magnesium, Potassium, SALT, Sulfate and Vitamin C before beginning Iodine. Iodine will move neurotoxins off of Iodine receptor sites.
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2017/2/18/the-wilking-protocol

There are 4 halogens and one of them is Iodine. The other 3 are poisonous, and they are Bromine, Chlorine, and Fluoride. Iodine will displace them, but they do not willingly leave.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halogen

There are many many conflicting beliefs and articles about Iodine and the thyroid.  One only has to look to a google search of "Iodine Hashimotos".  Many sources tell people with Hashimoto's to stay away from Iodine.  However, ask yourself, if Iodine is essential to human health, how can it be so dangerous?
https://www.google.com/search?q=iodine+hashimotos

I believe the autoimmune response people get from 'excessive' iodine, is actually a detox response to iodine.  Can the body have a bad reaction to something it so desperately needs, but that it's receptacle for it has shrunk and withered?  Think about pouring a 55 gallon drum of kerosene into your little camping lantern sitting on a picnic table.  Your lantern needs the kerosene.  You need the light, but delivering too much too fast is going to be a problem.  Even if it doesn't spill, think of the effort and the balancing act to get that little lantern working again.  It would be best to deliver the kerosene to the lantern, a little bit at a time, at least until you know what you are doing, and then you can monitor your own reaction to it.

The for-profit structure of the Pharmakons delivers a poison as a medicine, then prescribes an inhibitor with an opiate like effect that keeps the poisons in place.  The willing subject, fearful of the pain of detox, follows their commands.  The poison never leaves the patient's body.
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2016/12/11/poison-as-medicine

Keep in mind the Big Boys (Pharma) keep Iodine for themselves.  In the Emergency Room, Iodine is used everywhere.  It is 100% effective in killing bad bacteria.  It is healing.  It is used on surfaces and instruments.  It is used to wash the bodies of patients.  And it is used directly on wounds.  Leave the emergency room and Iodine somehow becomes instantly dangerous.  You might be able to find a 2oz bottle of it at the local pharmacy, with a skull and cross bones on it.  In comparison, Tylenol with 75,000 emergency room overdose visits a year, has no skull and crossbones.

Lugol's 5% Iodine is a 190 year old formula, not a brand, and is a good source of supplemental iodine.  Be sure to read the Power of Iodine page.

This page gives a list of Iodine cofactors as follows:
Selenium 200 – 400 mcg per day
Magnesium 400 – 1200 mg per day
Vitamin C 3,000 – 10,000 mg per day
Vitamin B - All of them
Salt (Celtic or Himalayan) – 1 tsp a day minimum

Iodine will displace the retained Bromine in your body.  Bromine is in our bread, our drinks, and our sauces.  It is in over the counter cold medicines.  Bromide is used as a fire retardant -- mandatory in the foam in bedding and furniture, and also kids pajamas.

A very common symptom is to develop a bromide rash as the bromine leaves the body.  Bromine is not just stored in the thyroid, it can be stored in other organs including the kidneys, lymph system and sweat glands.  Bromine is still a main ingredient in most cold medicines.  It’s listed as HBr.  Also, Alka-Seltzer was at one time called Bromo-Seltzer.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bromism

You may get a Bromine Rash as bromine leaves your body. It can happen at anytime. It commonly happens 3 month, 6 month, 9 month marks after starting Iodine.
https://www.google.com/search?q=bromide+rash&source

Chlorine is poisonous and is in our drinking water, and it's in our bathing water.  As a disinfectant, Iodine is a completely effective, healthy and safe substitute.  Do not confuse Chlorine with Chloride.  Chloride is necessary for human health, and we get our chloride predominantly from SALT.
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2017/1/13/salt-is-life

For bathing, an additional source of healthy chloride can come through Magnesium Chloride
http://www.mercuryfreekids.org/mercury101/2017/2/17/roman-bath-extreme

Iodine will displace Fluoride
Fluoride is in our water, and antibiotic medicines like fluoroquinolones.  They include Cipro, Levaquin, Avelox, and Floxin.  There are people with damage to the internal workings of their bodies from fluoroquinolones and fluoride.  They are often referred to as having been Floxxed, and a major symptom of this is peripheral neuropathy.  I believe these conditions can be reversed with the essentials.
http://www.webmd.com/brain/news/20130826/fda-strengthens-fluoroquinolone-warning

Do not let the dentist or doctor apply fluoride to your teeth.  Fluoride has been known to calcify, to freeze the pineal gland.
http://www.awaken-consciousness.com/blog/2015/11/30/pineal-gland-our-third-eye-the-biggest-cover-up-in-human-history/

The Pineal Gland contains the highest concentration of Fluoride in the body.
"Fluoride may also accumulate in a child's pineal because significant amounts of calcification have been demonstrated in the pineals from young children."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSZQ3ixu7a4

The pineal gland sits in the center of your brain, it is your 3rd eye.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajna

The pineal gland is the CEO's office to your body.  It tells the Corporate Heaquarter Messenger Service, your thyroid, what do with Iodine.  T3 and T4 hormones are 70% iodine, and those numbers, 3 and 4, are determined by how many Iodine molecules are attached.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thyroid_hormones

Read more about fluoride calcifying the pineal gland.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pineal_gland

Concentrations of "brain sand" increase with age, so the pineal gland becomes increasingly visible on X-rays over time, usually by the third or fourth decade. They are sometimes used as anatomical landmarks in radiological examinations.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpora_arenacea

The degree of calcification, relative to the size of an individual’s pineal gland, has been suggested as a marker of the individual’s decreased capability to produce melatonin.  Calcification of the pineal gland, and thus lack of melatonin, will cause a disruption in circadian rhythm.

Fluoride has not been measured in the pineal glands of children or young adults, nor has there been any investigation of the relationship between pineal fluoride concentrations and either recent or cumulative fluoride intakes.
